“The Charred Kiss BBQ Sauce brings that sweet–spicy balance that clings to the meatballs as they slow-cook — no extra seasoning needed. Simple, bold, and made to feed people you love.”
Ingredients — Meatballs
- 2 lbs ground beef or ground pork (or 50/50 mix)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ tsp salt | 1 tsp black pepper
- 1½ tsp smoked paprika | 1 tsp onion powder | 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional) | 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Ingredients — Sauce
- 2½–3 cups Charred Kiss BBQ Sauce (enough to fully coat and lightly submerge meatballs)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently mix all meatball ingredients until just combined. Don’t overwork — soft hands = tender meatballs.
- Roll into medium-sized meatballs (about 1½ inches). Expect 30–36 meatballs.
- Optional but recommended: Brown meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side to seal in flavor.
- Place meatballs in crock pot in an even layer. Pour Charred Kiss BBQ Sauce over top until fully covered.
- Cook: Low 4–5 hours | High 2–3 hours. Stir gently once halfway through.
- Serve hot straight from the crock pot.
How to Serve
- Over creamy mashed potatoes
- On soft slider buns
- With rice or buttered noodles
- As an appetizer with toothpicks
- Alongside mac & cheese or collard greens
